What is Acupuncture?

Acupuncture is a traditional healing method developed in China more than 4000 years ago. Today it is used worldwide in an ever-expanding fashion to treat many different medical problems.

Acupuncture is a method of encouraging and stimulating the body to heal itself and improve and restore natural function. This is done by placing small sterilized stainless steel needles into specific acupuncture points located along meridian lines on the body which have the ability to change nerve, tissue and chemical functions in order to help treat a wide variety of medical problems.

Acupuncture is a complement to your present health care management, and is recommended by many medical doctors and other healthcare professionals caring for you.

Whether you are overweight, in pain, suffering from addiction, under stress, or suffering from endocrine or infertility problems, acupuncture may be able to add benefit to your treatment plan.
